The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga has sent a telegram of condolences to the President of Turkey Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, related to today’s terrorist attack in Ankara, in which dozens of people lost their lives and hundreds more were injured.
In the telegram it is said:
With deep grief I received the terrible news of the terrorist attack that occurred today in Ankara, which left dozens of people dead and hundreds of others injured.
On behalf of the institutions of Kosovo, its citizens and on my own behalf, I express to You the most sincere condolences for the lost lives of innocent people, to their families and all the citizens of the Republic of Turkey, and the as fast as possible recovery of all the injured.
The institutions of Kosovo heavily condemn this terrorist act and stand by the Turkish people during these heavy hours for them. We express our unwavering commitment to win the battle against terrorism and extremism, close to our allies, who have the common goal of protecting the rights of the citizens and guaranteeing their prosperity, maintaining global security and joint stability.
At this time of mourning and grief for your country, our thoughts and prayers are with the citizens of the Republic of Turkey.
Your Excellency, the people of Kosovo stand by You. I express to You my highest considerations.
