The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga, based on the constitutional powers, has decreed today the promulgation of the law on the prohibition of joining armed conflicts outside the territory of the country, which has been approved by the Assembly of Kosovo on March 12, 2015.
President Jahjaga states that Kosovo is a country of long tradition of tolerance and respect for cultural and religious diversity, with clear goals to become part of the developed, advanced and democratic world.
President Jahjaga states that all the security mechanisms in the country are doing their job in preventing the participation of the citizens of Kosovo in wars outside the country and the signed law, which has been voted in the Assembly of Kosovo, will affect this prevention.
