I thank President Erdogan for the state reception held in honour of our official visit, attended by the highest state representatives. At the ceremony, I presented the presidential military medal for the Turkish Armed Forces to the Minister of Defense Hulusi Akar. The role of the Turkish Armed Forces during the NATO intervention in 1999, for the service within KFOR for 23 years as well as in assisting bilateral cooperation in relation to the KSF, is of extreme importance.
During the official visit to Turkey, we also signed three inter-state agreements, which were signed by Deputy Prime Minister Gërvalla and line ministers from the Republic of Turkey. We also had a very productive meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Mevlüt Çavusoğlu, with whom we discussed a number of issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of foreign policy.
