The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga, received a group of 37 young volunteers of the American Peace Corps in Kosovo, led by the Director, Mr. Stephen Kutzy, who from September will start their work in support of various schools of Kosovo.
President Jahjaga highly appreciated the help that the volunteers of the US Peace Corps are offering to all the communities in various parts of Kosovo and said that their contribution is very significant. She said that the Peace Corps volunteers, in addition to working directly with children in schools, will also help to deepen the friendship and strengthening of relations between the citizens of Kosovo and the American people.
The Director of the US Peace Corps in Kosovo, Mr. Stephen Kutzy, thanked President Jahjaga, the institutions and the citizens for the warm welcome they have made to the Peace Corps volunteers, who after the completion of the trainings will be settled in households in different settlements of Kosovo.
