The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga, received today the world famous sportswoman from Kosovo Majlinda Kelmendi, whom she awarded the Presidential Medal of Merits for her achievements in the sport of judo.
President Jahjaga congratulated Majlinda Kelmendi for the achievements in the international scene stating that she represents the pride of the country and is an example of inspiration for future generations.
President Jahjaga stressed that with Kosovo’s membership in the International Olympic Committee now young people from Kosovo will have the opportunity to successfully represent the country in the international scene.
President Jahjaga stressed that the institutions of the country will continue to support the athletes who with represent their talent in the world Kosovo.
Majlinda Kelmendi thanked President Jahjaga for the recognition and for the continuous support she has had from the President and the institutions of the country.
