Clarification for the public opinion
The Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo, for the sake of the right clarification of the public opinion states that the news published in some media that supposedly President Jahjaga has decorated her grandfather is inaccurate and unprofessional. Mehmet Agë Rashkoci is not the grandfather of President Jahjaga. The distant family connections are a coincidence.

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga, received today the EU Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Mr. Johannes Hahn, with whom she discussed about the European perspective of Kosovo, the conclusion of the visa liberalization process and the SAA for Kosovo, the illegal migration of the citizens of the country, as well as the process of normalizing the relations with the Republic of Serbia, through the dialogue taking place in Brussels.
