Prishtina, April 4, 2021 – The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, with 71 votes in favor, elected today the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Dr. Vjosa Osmani- Sadriu, for a five-year term.
In her oath before the MPs of the Assembly of Kosovo, President Osmani said:
“I swear that I will devote all my energy to preserving the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Kosovo, the insurance of human and civil freedoms and rights, the respecting and protection of the Constitution and laws, the safeguarding of peace and the well-being of all the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo and with conscience and responsibility will fulfill all my obligations”, said the President of the Republic of Kosovo.
