The Presidency of the Republic continues to be fully committed to strengthening of the partnership with key domestic and international actors in order to achieve the objectives of the advancement of gender equality in the country.
In this regard, the Presidency joined the conference of the International Republican Institute (IRI) held on October 25th, in the panel on perspectives and challenges in the process of inclusion and promotion of women in party structures and decision-making processes.
At the panel, Ms. Learta Hollaj, the chief adviser to President Vjosa Osmani on sustainable development and partnership, spoke of the importance of holding of the Women, Peace and Security Forum at this defining time for the future of joint security on the continent and beyond. In particular, Mrs. Hollaj, in particular, emphasized the fact that the Forum has confirmed that the inclusion of women in decision-making and policy-making processes contributes to safer and more peaceful societies and that engagement in this direction should be comprehensive and systematic.
