Prishtina, 22 July 2022 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani Sadriu
received the President of the Republic of Albania, Ilir Meta, with the highest state honors on the occasion of the completion of his mandate.
After this ceremony, President Osmani and President Meta held a meeting, while at the end they addressed the media
President Osmani said that with President Meta they discussed about the vital importance of deepening fraternal relations between the two countries, about the consolidating of the cooperation and mutual support for the Euro-Atlantic future.
“With President Ilir Meta, who is staying in Kosovo upon the completion of his mandate, we discussed about the vital importance of deepening fraternal relations between our two countries, about the consolidating of the cooperation and mutual support for our Euro-Atlantic future”, emphasized President Osmani.
The Head of State has expressed deep gratitude to President Meta for his steadfast support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Kosovo.
“I expressed my deep gratitude to President Meta for his steadfast support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Kosovo, and also for his continuous efforts to further strengthen the partnership between Kosovo and Albania”, said President Osmani.
