President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs Atifete Jahjaga received today at a meeting the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr Hashim Thaçi, accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister Mr Hajredin Kuçi and European Integrations Minster Ms Vlora Çitaku.
Prime Minister informed the President about the meeting held in Brussels with the Prime Minister of Serbia Mr Ivica Dačić, and about the pre-set dynamics of the dialogue process and agreement implementation.
Prime Minister Thaçi said that successful beginning of the implementation of the Integrated Border Management Agreement (IBM) between the Republic of Kosovo and Republic of Serbia is important.
President of the Republic of Kosovo welcomed the commencement of the implementation of the Integrated Border Management (IBM), an act that she classified as a step forward towards the full normalisation of relations between Republic of Kosovo and Republic of Serbia and considers it an achievement for the citizens on both sides of the border.
The agreement reached at the dialogue process facilitated by Brussels allows the free and unhindered movement of people and goods and opens the European perspective for both independent and sovereign states.
