The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Dr. Vjosa Osmani–Sadriu, in the wake of the official meetings in Switzerland, met with Mr. Alex Kuprecht, President of the Swiss Senate (Council of States).
“Apart from the reconfirmation of the excellent relationship between Kosovo and Switzerland, the fact that our extraordinary diaspora has significantly contributed in this regard was also emphasized”, said Acting President Osmani.
The two interlocutors also discussed about the importance of cooperation with Switzerland in terms of strengthening the rule of law, as a basis for consolidating state-building, but also the successful functioning of the state.
“We found that a serious work in this direction, in addition to affecting the improvement of the well-being of the citizens of Kosovo, is also a message of success to our friends and allies”, said the Acting President.
On the other hand, Mr. Kuprecht confirmed that Switzerland will always be engaged for Kosovo.
Acting President Osmani and Mr. Kuprecht, also discussed about the investment opportunities in various fields, and job creation opportunities
“We discussed about the opportunities that exist towards attracting investments in various fields of the economy, empowering women and creating jobs for young people. Today’s meetings mark important steps towards achieving these objectives”, said Acting President Osmani.
