The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, together with Prime Minister Albin Kurti and the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Hajrulla Çeku, paid tribute and said goodbye to the prominent artist of our people, the artist of popular humor Rasim Thaçi-Cima.
Acting President Konjufca said that Rasim Thaçi has been an inseparable part of our families for decades, “especially for us who were born in the 80s, it was impossible to be celebrating New Year’s Eve, and not to have Rasim Thaçi as our inevitable guest”.
According to him, Rasim Thaçi made a humor that was very special, that has accompanied us and has made us smile even in the time of the gloom of the occupation.
“Therefore, he will always be remembered and honored by our people. His work is unforgettable, and I think that the humor of today, which is humor of a popular nature, and which is made by young comedians now, is very much influenced by what in the late 80s ‘treshi përsheshi’ did”, said the Acting President.
The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, said that by honoring his work, we do not forget the artists who in the most difficult times helped our people to go through difficult times, and also the occupation.
