The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, together with the Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, co-chaired the leaders’ round table on the topic of “An Open Europe with Secure Borders”, at the sixth summit of leaders of the European Political Community (EPC), which was held yesterday in Tirana.
President Osmani wrote:
Kosovo and Croatia led yesterday the highest-level European discussion on migration challenges, mobility, and youth empowerment.
Together with the Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, we co-chaired the leaders’ round table on the topic of “An Open Europe with Secure Borders”.
While the challenges may differ from country to country, one thing was clear: ensuring security and upholding the rule of law remain key to sound policies and long-term solutions.
