The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has received a congratulatory letter from the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, on the occasion of Kosovo’s Independence Day.
In her letter, the Governor-General congratulated President Osmani for her leadership in advancing the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Agenda in Kosovo, emphasizing that the full inclusion of women in peacebuilding and decision-making processes is essential for sustainable peace and security.
Governor Mostyn also expressed confidence that the friendly relations between the two countries will continue to strengthen and expand in the coming year, offering new opportunities for cooperation and partnership in areas of mutual interest.
