Chairmen of three parliamentary political parties, Mr. Hashim Thaçi (PDK), Mr. Isa Mustafa (LDK), and Mr. Behgjet Pacolli (AKR), upon their own request and initiative, met today at the Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo, to discuss the request for the dissolution of the Parliament of Kosovo and holding of the pre term general elections in the country.
Three leaders of political parties informed President Jahjaga for the steps undertaken to loosne the political blockage of the Parliament and about their position stating that the country must enter the electoral process at the most optimal time period.
President Jahjaga informed the leaders of political parties with her stance that her actions will be in complete congruity with the Constitution and the laws of Kosovo, that she will act immediately after the decision reached at the Parliament of Kosovo for its dissolution and that after this decision, in conformity with the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Kosovo, will invite all political parties of Kosovo for consultations on the determination of the election date.
