The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani met with the EU ambassador to Kosovo Tomáš Szunyog.
This meeting was held with the purpose of better coordination prior to the EU – Western Balkans Summit which will be held in Tirana on December 6th.
The fact that for the first time, this Summit will be held in the Western Balkans, confirming the readiness of the EU countries for a greater commitment towards cooperation and partnership with the countries of the region was highly praised at the meeting.
Both parties also discussed the statement, which is expected to be approved by the Summit participants.
On this occasion, Ambassador Szunyog presented the physical copy of the invitation by the President of the European Council Charles Michel to President Osmani, who will be representing Kosovo at the EU-Western Balkans Summit.
