The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, accompanied by the Minister of Internal Affairs Xhelal Sveçla and the Director of the Kosovo Police Gazmend Hoxha, visited the Central Police Station on the New Year’s Eve.
President Osmani expressed deep appreciation for the professional commitment and extraordinary dedication of the Kosovo Police in protecting the sovereignty of the state during a challenging year for national security, at this New year period, away from their families.
Madam President also commemorated the Hero of Kosovo Afrim Bunjaku, who died in defense of order, law, territorial integrity and sovereignty of our state and in defense of the dignity of our Republic.
During the visit, Madam President was also informed on the dynamics and daily activities of the Central Police Station and the preparations for the new year’s celebrations. President Osmani encouraged them to continue with the same determination and integrity in serving the citizens.
Wishing them a Happy New Year, President Osmani emphasized that the work of the Kosovo Police is essential for the well-being and safety of all citizens of the Republic.
