The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani commemorated Colonel Ahmet Krasniqi, on the 25th anniversary of his assassination.

25 years ago, through an insidious murder in Tirana, Colonel Ahmet Krasniqi gained eternal life.
The colonel was killed, but not the freedom, ideal, dream, and his lifelong engagement.
There is someone to write about the colonel today and forever because he is our history, he is the history of the state of Kosovo.
The colonel’s activity is based on the legacy of his father, who was also a freedom fighter for the nation.
Our freedom is a testament left by Colonel Ahmeti and hundreds of his heroes, comrades-in-arms and collaborators.
Kosovo’s freedom will have more meaning when we fulfill our debt to the colonel by bringing his murderer to light.
May the memory of Colonel Ahmet Krasniq be eternal!
