The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, who is currently in New York where the 78th session of the United Nations Assembly is being held, attended the official reception organized by the President of the United States of America, Joe Biden.
In a warm conversation with President Biden, President Osmani emphasized that the foundations of Kosovo’s freedom and statehood lie in the permanent alliance with the USA.
Consequently, in this context, she reiterated the position that the partnership with America is existential, inviolable and irreplaceable. Madam President also had the opportunity to inform President Biden with the latest developments and challenges that Kosovo is currently facing.
After this conversation, President Osmani stated that she received strong guarantees from President Biden for the continuous US support to Kosovo. President Osmani thanked President Biden for the help, which the USA continues to give to Kosovo on its stability and development path.
