The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga received today the representatives of the Board of the group of women MPs, headed by Mrs. Blerta Deliu-Kodra and Mrs. Time Kadrijaj and Mrs. Shukrie Bytyqi, members.
President Jahjaga congratulated the new board emphasizing the importance of its work and expressed her commitment to support the group of women, in all activities on the empowerment of women and the achievement of gender equality.
The President of the Board of the Group of Women MPs, Mrs. Deliu-Kodra said that the group of women MPs will continue to work with increased intensity in the representation of the woman and her empowerment in politics as well, both at central and local level. She thanked President Jahjaga for the support and added that women in the institutions have to work together in order to achieve equality in society.
