In several portals the notification was published today according to which the Office of the President will spend within one year 100 thousand euro for airplane tickets.
The Office of the President would like to clarify that it is about a framework contract with a period of a one year duration, which means the planning of the costs within a certain period of time and which consequently does not speak about the expenditure of the entire foreseen amount.
From the annual contract amount as much as needed will be spent, depending on the travel agenda.
The amount mentioned in the contract is a planned amount, as all other activities during the year are planned which also implies the progress of work in every institution.
The Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo reiterates the fact that President Jahjaga in almost all her travels abroad has used the most inexpensive flights – Economy class – and continues to care about public money, by reducing all costs not only on trips.
