The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Justina Shiroka Pula, met with representatives of the “Albanian Coalition” list from Preshevë, Bujanoc, and Medvegjë, who congratulated her on her election to the post of the President of the Republic of Kosovo.
President Shiroka Pula commended them for uniting under a joint electoral list—the “Albanian Coalition”—which brings together eight Albanian political entities to compete collectively in Serbia’s snap parliamentary elections, scheduled for October 25, 2026. She wished them success in Sunday’s elections, emphasizing the importance of political coordination to ensure the strongest possible representation for Albanians within Serbia’s institutions.
According to President Shiroka Pula, increasing the representation of Albanians in the Serbian National Assembly would allow for more robust denunciation of the systematic violations of their rights by Serbian authorities, while ensuring that the legitimate issues and demands of the Albanians in the Presheva Valley receive appropriate institutional attention and representation. At the end of the meeting, President Shiroka Pula emphasized the need for the broadest possible participation of Albanians in the October 25 elections, so that the “Albanian Coalition” may achieve the best possible result and the representation of Albanians in the Serbian Parliament may be as strong as possible.
