The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, today received the credentials of the new Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to the Republic of Kosovo, Anne-Lise Cattin Hennin.
Acting President Haxhiu welcomed Ambassador Cattin Hennin to Kosovo and wished her success in her diplomatic mission, expressing her conviction that relations between Kosovo and Switzerland will be further strengthened during her term.
“Kosovo deeply values Switzerland’s friendship and support, which has stood by our citizens during the most difficult times and continues to do so today through political, economic, development and security cooperation,” said Acting President Haxhiu.
She also highlighted the important role of Kosovo’s diaspora in Switzerland in bringing the two countries closer together.
“Our diaspora in Switzerland holds a special place in the relations between Kosovo and Switzerland, having made a valuable contribution to the economic, social and cultural life of both countries,” said the Acting President.
Acting President Haxhiu assured Ambassador Cattin Hennin of her full cooperation in further advancing the partnership between the Republic of Kosovo and the Swiss Confederation.
