Colonel Ahmet Krasniqi, the first Minister of Defense of Kosovo, remains a symbol of courage, sacrifice and vision for a free Kosovo.
He was treacherously murdered, a victim of a despicable act that aimed to stop the efforts for freedom. But, even though the colonel was murdered, the dream of a free Kosovo was not killed. His legacy is alive in every step of our state-building, while solving his murder remains a moral and institutional obligation.
May the memory of Colonel Ahmet Krasniqi be eternal!
