The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, during her visit to New York, met with the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
President Osmani wrote:
In New York, I held a meeting with the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
I emphasized the importance of cooperation between Kosovo and the Arab League, as well as the need for support in the process of recognizing Kosovo by the member states of this organization that have not yet taken this step.
