expressed her consideration for the professional and courageous media.
“I want to encourage them to continue their efforts for fair and impartial reporting because freedom of the press is a basic precondition for the democratic functioning of the society,” said the President.

Freedom is an attribute of the natural state, as should Freedom of the Press.
On World Press Freedom Day, I want to express my consideration for the professional and courageous media. I want to encourage them to continue their efforts for fair and impartial reporting as freedom of the press is a basic precondition for the democratic functioning of society.
Of a society in which every single day we create space to hear the different opinions and where everyone feels free to say what they think.
Dear media/journalists, congratulations on your day! Research, provide evidence, and draw conclusions based on them. Truth must be the permanent cause of everyone.
