Summary of President Vjosa Osmani’s visit to the United States

During her visit to the United States, President Osmani held a series of bilateral meetings, participated in discussions with partners, and attended numerous multilateral activities as part of the United Nations High-Level Week. She also met with our diaspora in the US and visited the US Army War College.

– Participation in the panel with President Bill Clinton and the WHO Director at the closing event of the Clinton Global Initiative

– Meeting of the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF), at the invitation of the German Foreign Minister, Johann Wadephul

– Speech at the Clinton Global Initiative on the importance of women’s empowerment

– Address at the Albanian American Relations Council (AARC) event

– Receiving the Women Empowerment Award from Fashion 4 Development

– Participation in the reception organized by the Federal Republic of Germany for world leaders

– Participation at the meeting organized by American representatives with the leaders of the Western Balkans (US-Western Balkans roundtable)

– Participation in the annual meeting organized by Luxembourg Foreign Minister Xavier Bettel for world leaders

– Meeting with young Albanian-Americans
