President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, welcomes the signing of four agreements at the dialogue process between the Republic of Kosovo and Republic of Serbia tonight in Brussels, with the mediation of European Union, as an important moment in strengthening of our constitutional order and normalization of relations between the two states.
President Jahjaga, who held an over the phone conversation with Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Isa Mustafa, leader of the state delegation undertaking the dialogue with the Republic of Serbia, points out that agreements strengthen the sovereignty of the Republic of Kosovo and its territorial integrity, and its aspiration to make Kosovo an all inclusive, stable and prosperous state. They also help the integration of the Serbian community in social and institutional life of the country, in full conformity with the Constitution of Kosovo and the laws in force.
Achievement of the package of agreements, inclusive of the separate telephone dialling code, demonstrates the dedication and seriousness of the Republic of Kosovo in the dialogue process, which will help the further international consolidation of the Republic of Kosovo and its clear European perspective.
