Prishtina, August 30, 2016 – The attack against the highest political institution in the country, the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, was a terrorist attack and this form of political action is unacceptable and intolerable.
Political violence will have no place in our society and our new Kosovo, which we have built with much sacrifice.
I support the law enforcement authorities to be uncompromising in the pursuit of all those who in any way violate the state of Kosovo.
For their work they deserve recognition from all of us.
The citizens of Kosovo also deserve high appreciation for the maturity shown, because they have consistently opposed violence as a form of political action.
Also, I invite all the political subjects not to become part of the rhetoric of violence and to leave the narrow political interests, but to unite for the general benefit of the Republic of Kosovo.
