The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received today in a farewell meeting the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, Jörn Rohde, whom she thanked for his long-term commitment to Kosovo.
President Osmani reiterated that Germany remains an important strategic partner of the Republic of Kosovo and that the partnership between the two countries is continuously growing. The importance of deepening economic relations was highlighted on this occasion – relations which have also been strengthened with the valuable contribution of the Kosovar diaspora in Germany, constituting a solid bridge between the two countries and our peoples through their investments and commitment.
The President expressed gratitude for the support that Germany has provided to Kosovo over the years, including support for the path towards Euro-Atlantic integration. She also appreciated Germany’s continued support in various sectors through numerous development projects.
President Osmani wished Ambassador Rohde further success in his future engagements.
