Prishtina, February 07, 2017 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, travels tomorrow to Brussels, where he will be expected by senior representatives of the European Union.
President Thaçi will be received by the President of the European Council, Donald Tusk, with whom he will discuss about the European integration process of Kosovo.
Afterwards, President Thaçi will also meet the President of the European Parliament, Antonio Tajani, from whom he will request the continuation of the support from the European Parliament for Kosovo.
Whereas, on Thursday, President Thaçi will also have a meeting with the President of the European Commission, Jean Claude Juncker.
Likewise, at this meeting, there will be discussed about deepening the cooperation between Kosovo and the European Commission.
During his stay in Brussels, President Thaçi shall request from the European Union to implement the visa liberalization for the citizens of Kosovo and to accelerate the process of Kosovo’s membership in the European Union.
