Prishtina, May 23 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, has strongly condemned the attack of last evening in Manchester, where dozens of British citizens were killed and injured.
“The shocking attack in Manchester has been directed against the defenseless, against youth and the future. In these heavy hours, the people and institutions of Kosovo share the pain of the people and the institutions of the friend state, Great Britain”, it is said in President Thaçi’s statement.
He has added that the terrorists do not spare anything and anyone to spread fear and horror in the world, attacking the values which have been built with much sacrifice.
“The democratic world has built these values together, we must protect them together from terrorists who do not choose means to overthrow them”, the President has stressed.
Being part of the coalition against ISIS, President Thaçi has said that Kosovo will fight alongside the friend states against those who use and spread fear through terrorist acts.
