Prishtina, February 20, 2020 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received today the credential letters of the Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia, Gunta Pastore, non-resident Ambassador to Kosovo.
Congratulating her on the new assignment, President Thaçi conveyed to the new Ambassador the gratitude of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo for the support of Latvia.
“We are grateful for the support, whether in bilateral relations or while acting in international institutions and organizations in Kosovo”, stated President Thaçi, adding that “Kosovo wants to learn as much as possible from Latvia’s experience”.
Ambassador Pastore rejoiced at the new opportunity for cooperation and added that Latvia supports Kosovo on its path to Euro-Atlantic integration.
