The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, after the death of the former President of the United States of America, George H.W. Bush, in a sign of state and civic respect for his contribution to the freedom of Kosovo, has declared Wednesday (December 5, 2018) a state mourning day in the Republic of Kosovo.
On the day of mourning, the state flag of the Republic of Kosovo shall be lowered at half-staff in all state facilities of the Republic of Kosovo, both domestically and abroad.
Wednesday has been declared a national day of mourning in the United States of America as well.
