Prishtina, September 3rd – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received today the credentials of Ambassador Christoph Weidinger who will be the new representative of the Republic of Austria in Prishtina.
President Thaçi welcomed Ambassador Weidinger and congratulated him on his office.
“We have built a tradition of good bilateral relations and cooperation in international mechanisms”, said President Thaçi about the relations with Austria.
“Austria has been one of the first countries to have understood well the developments in Kosovo and to tell the world about Kosovo”, added President Thaçi.
Ambassador Weidinger said he will continue to work to further enhance relations between Austria and Kosovo
President Thaçi stated that Kosovo is a country of great potentials and added that he is pleased that Austrian investors have already invested in Kosovo.
