The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Justina Shiroka Pula, held a meeting with the Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR), General Alexus G. Grynkewich.
The security situation in Kosovo and the region, NATO’s role in maintaining peace and stability, and future cooperation were the issues discussed at the meeting.
President Shiroka Pula expressed Kosovo’s praise for the NATO and KFOR contribution in ensuring security and stability in the country. She emphasized that the KFOR presence remains vital for the safety of all citizens and for maintaining stability in Kosovo.
Madam President reaffirmed Kosovo’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with NATO and advancing cooperation with its allies, underscoring that NATO membership remains one of the strategic objectives of the Republic of Kosovo.
In this context, President Shiroka Pula stressed that Kosovo remains committed to peace, regional stability, and close cooperation with the United States of America, NATO, and international partners.
