The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Dr. Fatmir Sejdiu, condemned the violence exerted by a group of “Vetëvendosja” Movement, who demolished EULEX Mission vehicles today.
“Everybody in Kosovo enjoys the freedom to protest and express his civil dissatisfaction. But, every protest should be within the strict boundaries of a civilised and democratic demonstration. Any other action that undermines anybody’s freedom, security and property and that is in violation of law is entirely unacceptable to the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo” – President Sejdiu said.
He called on all institutions and people of the country to act responsibly, to maintain their dignity and to engage earnestly in the irreversible democratic and Euro-Atlantic future of the Republic of Kosovo.
