The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani has exhibited works of art in her Office.
The head of state said that the exhibition of works of art, in addition to beautifying this Office, is also done with the aim of promoting our artists and raising awareness of important causes.
“The special thing about this initiative is that the first painting we have exhibited is the painting of Yllka Leti. Yllka, who is the love itself, battles with cystic fibrosis since birth, a genetic disorder that mainly affects the lungs, but also the liver, pancreas, kidneys and intestines. “In the long run, cystic fibrosis causes difficulties in breathing and coughing as a result of frequent lung infections,” said President Osmani.

Yesterday we started with the exhibition of works of art at the Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo – a tradition that we will nurture with lots of love. The exhibition of works of art, in addition to beautifying this Office, is also done in order to promote our artists and raise awareness of important causes. The peculiarity of this initiative is that the first painting we have exhibited is the painting of Yllka Leti. Yllka, who is the love itself, battles with cystic fibrosis since birth, a genetic disorder that mainly affects the lungs, but also the liver, pancreas, kidneys and intestines. In the long run, cystic fibrosis causes difficulties in breathing and coughing as a result of frequent lung infections. There are 215 children registered with cystic fibrosis in Kosovo. Yllka became their voice through an exhibition held last year. Yllka's painting breathed a new life to the office and we will work very hard to breathe life into her cause, as well as to support children with cystic fibrosis and their families in our country.
