The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, who is currently on a visit to Qatar, was received by the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani.
The further deepening of relations and expansion of cooperation in various fields such as healthcare, mountain tourism, infrastructure, as well as other projects of importance to Kosovo were discussed at the meeting. A number of investment projects in strategic sectors were particularly discussed, discussions on which will resume via relevant teams in the coming days.
President Osmani also raised the issue of the treatment of war invalids from the ranks of the KLA, who require prosthetic services.
The increase of support in strengthening of the position of Kosovo in the international arena was also one of the discussion points. Madam President thanked the Emir of Qatar for his continuous support to Kosovo and its people.
