On the last day of the year, the President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani visited the Emergency Clinic of the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo, the Coordinative Operational Communication Centre, the Centre Police Station and the Fire Brigade.
At the Emergency Clinic, the President was accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Health, Mrs. Dafina Gexha. At a meeting with the management and the staff, President Osmani wished that during the night of the change of years there is not much work for them, thanking all healthcare institutions for the work they are doing in managing the pandemic. She thanked all the medical staff who will be on duty tonight.
At the Coordinative Operational Communication Centre as well as at the Centre Police Station, President Osmani was accompanied by the Minister of Interior Xhelal Sveçla, and the Director-General of the Police, Samedin Mehmeti.
President Osmani congratulated the Kosovo Police for their engagement throughout this year, emphasizing their work carried out in the benefit of the safety of citizens but also the assistance they have provided in managing the pandemic. Meanwhile, during a visit to the Fire Brigade, the President praised their engagement in the hope that the festive night will pass without the need for their intervention.
At all three institutions, which will be working during the holiday period, the President congratulated and encouraged them for the work they do for civic safety with the desire that 2022 will be a year of success not only for them but for the entire state of Kosovo.
