Today, the President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, signed the Condolence Book for President Jimmy Carter, which was opened at the Embassy of the United States of America in Prishtina.
On this occasion, President Osmani wrote:
On behalf of the people of the Republic of Kosovo, I extend my deepest condolences to the Carter family and the American people on the passing of President Jimmy Carter.
President Carter’s enduring commitment to peace, human rights, and justice inspired generations of leaders across the world. His dedication to service reminds us all that true leadership is not about power, but about compassion, integrity and purpose.
Kosovo will always honor his legacy as a champion for freedom and dignity. May his example continue to guide us all, and may his memory be a blessing to all who strive for a better, more just world.
