The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received today at a meeting the Vice President of the European Parliament Rainer Wieland.
According to Madam President, a secure future of the region is possible with the membership of Kosovo and the Western Balkan countries in the EU and NATO.
The current situation created after Russia's aggression against Ukraine was also discussed at the meeting.
President Osmani stressed that Kosovo is on the side of Ukraine and its people, considering its inalienable right to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity. During the meeting, President Osmani reiterated that Kosovo has already met all the criteria for visa liberalization and in this context asked the EU to keep its promise to Kosovars.
