The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received at a regular meeting the American Ambassador Jeffrey Hovenier.
Developments in the country, the region and beyond were discussed, in the aftermath of the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
President Osmani stressed that Kosovo has the same stance as our allies, strongly condemning the Russian military aggression and the illegal recognition by the Russian Federation of the “independence” of the so-called People's Republics of Luhansk and Donetsk.
She also added that Kosovo stands with the people of Ukraine while they are facing Russian aggression and that our country will continue to fully align with the allies in order to prevent the destabilization of our region.
