The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received the Ambassador of the United States of America, Jeffrey Hovenier.
President Osmani and Ambassador Hovenier discussed coordination related to the meetings and activities foreseen during the High Level Week of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), where President Osmani will represent the Republic of Kosovo in her capacity as head of the state.
The latest developments in the country with a special focus on security issues, as well as other topics of national interest were also discussed at the meeting.
Madam President informed the US Ambassador about the start of the consultations stage carried out with the leaders of the political parties, regarding the regular elections, and was introduced to the newly appointed Deputy US Ambassador, Ms. Anu Prattipati.
