The President of the Republic of Kosovo Dr. Vjosa Osmani Sadriu, as part of the activities to mark the National Day of the Forcibly Disappeared, hosted a meeting with a group of representatives of the family members of the missing persons headed by Mr. Bajram Qerkini, director of the Resource Center for Missing Persons, at the same time coordinator of the Coordinating Council of the Family Associations of the Missing Persons of Kosovo.
President Osmani emphasized that bringing to light the fate of the forcibly disappeared is one of the most serious wounds that Kosovo has even 25 years after the war. Unfortunately, Serbia still keeps its archives closed, despite the Brussels agreement that obligates it to open them.
President Osmani reaffirmed her commitment and effort not only to find out the fate of the forcibly disappeared by but also to bring justice to them.
