The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received today the non-resident ambassador of Japan to Kosovo Ryuta Mizuuchi, with whom she confirmed the excellent relations between the two countries, marking the 15th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year.
At the meeting with Ambassador Mizuuchi, President Osmani said that Japan remains a partner of Kosovo and a constant supporter and thanked Ambassador Mizuuchi for the many projects that Japan is implementing in Kosovo through the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
President Osmani emphasized Kosovo’s commitment to the Euro-Atlantic path, stressing the necessity of Kosovo’s membership in international organizations, but also its international affirmation.
President Osmani also discussed with Ambassador Mizuuchi a number of issues in the field of bilateral cooperation, this year’s edition of the International Forum for Women, Peace and Security and other issues of mutual interest.
Both interlocutors expressed the need to expand bilateral relations and intensify cooperation in the fields of economy, education, and healthcare.
