The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received today the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, Elisa Spiropali.
Thanking Albania for its continued support, President Osmani emphasized that Kosovo-Albania relations are fraternal and at the same time strategic, natural and irreplaceable, underlining the importance of regular political and diplomatic coordination at all levels.
President Osmani and Minister Spiropali, among other things, discussed the participation of Kosovo and Albania as founding members of the Board of Peace, assessing that this platform brings both countries even closer to the United States and global strategic partners, as well as increasing their international profile and role as contributors to global peace and security.
Regarding foreign policy cooperation, President Osmani discussed continued diplomatic coordination on new recognitions, support for international organizations such as NATO, the Council of Europe and other organizations, as well as other areas of mutual interest.
President Osmani reaffirmed that close cooperation between Kosovo and Albania remains essential for advancing common strategic interests and strengthening the role of the two countries in regional and global peace, security and stability.
