During the week, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received the Mayor of Bujanovac, Arbër Pajaziti, along with his team, to whom she wished further success in his task of representing the interests of the citizens of Bujanoc.
During the meeting, President Osmani reconfirmed the commitment of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to continuously support the Albanians living in Preshevë, Bujanoc and Medvegjë in realizing their rights under the highest human rights standards.
Also, in this context, the President and Mayor Pajaziti discussed facilitating citizenship procedures for citizens from these municipalities, emphasizing the importance of addressing their challenges. The Mayor of Bujanoc thanked Madam President for raising her voice for the rights of Albanians in the Valley in all international forums. At the same time, they also discussed a series of initiatives through which Albanians in Preshevë, Bujanoc and Medvegjë can be supported.
