The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received today the Ambassador of the Italian Republic to Kosovo, Antonello De Riu.
The latest developments in the country, with special emphasis on security developments, given the ongoing threats and Serbia’s tendencies to destabilize the region were discussed at the meeting.
The contribution of the Italian troops within KFOR in maintaining peace and security in the country was also discussed, with President Osmani highly appreciating their engagements and the continuous support of Italy in this direction.
President Osmani reiterated her commitment to close cooperation with Italy and reaffirmed her willingness to intensify bilateral relations.
