The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received today the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Europe and Trade of Malta, and the current OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ian Borg.
At the meeting, President Osmani and Minister Borg discussed the cooperation of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo with the OSCE inclusive of previous support by the OSCE, and the current cooperation with the local institutions. President Osmani was informed on the priorities held by Minister Borg and Malta as this year’s OSCE Chairperson-in-Office.
Bilateral relations between Kosovo and Malta, Kosovo’s membership in the Council of Europe as well as the latest political developments in the region were discussed at the meeting.
During the discussions with Minister Borg, Madam President said that Kosovo continues to be at the forefront of progress in the region and beyond, in terms of strengthening the rule of law and democracy as well as in promotion of human rights.
